TDCA Inc Monthly Meeting – May 2021
Is A ‘Left Turn Only’ Into Leach Road A Good Idea?
The monthly meeting, for Tamborine and District Citizens Association Inc’s for May, was cancelled due to lack of response for attendance. An area for concern, although, has been brought to the attention of the TDCA Inc. Local residents are concerned about the issue of access into Leach Road and the danger presented when trying to negotiate the traffic in and out of one of the most important main roads of Tamborine. Feedback has been given with suggestion of a ‘left turn only’ installation into the road. Also suggested was a ‘no right turn’ into the road. Either way, it an area of concern and to this end TDCA Inc will talk to Department of Transport and Main Roads for a proposed solution.
If you would like to voice your opinion about this issue (or another), join the TDCA Inc at their monthly meetings for an effective platform to discuss local matters. The association would like to invite residents to come along and add a fresh approach to the assessment of local areas of concern.
