A Note From The Editor

We hope everyone had a great start to the New Year!
Well, we thought we would have a bit of a rest in January, because as it turns out, although we love it, sorting out a monthly newspaper can be quite grueling! But work prevailed as we were keen on improving our processes in the break. To that end, we have now taken on Farah Hall, our new advertising sales lady – and we must say, she is a delight to work with – (read Farah’s short bio on page 7).
We are still on the hunt for Event Reporters, a Social Media & Website Content Manager, and a Graphic Designer – and as always Delivery Persons with a motorcycle licence!
With this edition we are turning two years old and have reached 48 pages! A lot of people, businesses and groups in this edition have reflected on the extraordinary year that was 2020, and of the impact Covid-19 has had on their lives.
As we move forward into 2021 with the exciting expectations we may have of the future, we hope our provision of what we believe is genuinely affordable advertising for the community will help support businesses as they get back onto their feet. Stay tuned for some exciting new upcoming ad and editorial packages! We hope you have a happy Valentines Day! Stay safe and inspired!
Kind Regards Kerri
