Pony Club Riders Awarded

‘Slip Sliding’ & Celebrating A Year Of Spirit …

Reflecting On Ability & Milestones at Pony Club’s End Of Year Celebration

Tamborine Pony Club recently held their breakup and celebrated another great year where numbers to our events have increased. The Club has been represented by riders at many competitions and we also had riders who qualified to attend the PCQ State Jumping Equitation and Showjumping Championships at McKay and the PCQ State Dressage, combined Training and Horse Trials Championships at Burpengary.
The Club received a Gambling Community Benefit Grant and has developed a new multi-use arena. We are grateful to those members who assist with the ongoing mowing and maintenance at the grounds and the maintenance of our equipment: their support is both necessary and much appreciated.
Our Breakup was the opportunity to present awards to our riders for their achievements for the year, and to acknowledge and thank the key people in our club, be they instructors, committee or other members who assist. Certificates are gained by riders at different levels and reflect both their riding ability and their horsemastership and are seen as important milestones. Matilda Winn was presented with her D* Certificate.
The main winners of the day were presented with their individual trophies and their names will go onto the Club’s perpetual trophies:
