Bearded Dragon Hotel is feeling the LOVE after back to back weddings throughout March! We saw so many beautiful couples tie the knot at our iconic Wagon ceremony location, framed by views of Tamborine Mountain and the sweeping hills of the Scenic Rim. A big Thankyou to our recent newly-weds, Debs & Jenna, Shania & Brent, and Clare & Isaiah for choosing us to be a part of your wedding day!
Debs & Jenna held their cocktail-style wedding across our 5 acres in early March – holding their ceremony at our popular Wagon site and then moving inside our Bluegum Ballroom for roaming canapès, cold beers, local wine and a night filled with laughter and dancing under the fairy lights! Choosing to do things differently, Debs & Jenna had a Bri-gal party with awesome Mrs & Mrs pictured, hay bale seating for a country themed setting, brisket pizzas, and a magic-mike-esque dance to finish the night.
Our Mid-March couple, Shania & Brent, booked their wedding 3 years ago – before the you-know-what hit us. They celebrated their love by tying the knot on our grounds, followed by a fun Reception focused on family and friends and a delicious chefs two course buffet dinner – loaded with lots of delicious dishes and great selection of salads! The couple had a post wedding breakfast in the restaurant with all their guests who enjoyed their overnight stay at the accommodation before departure.
Clare & Isaiah tied the knot later in March with an adult-only Ceremony and Reception! This lovely couple took our miniature donkeys, Matilda & Clancy, for a stroll through our paddocks for an exclusive photo opportunity like no other! Bearded Dragon Hotel chefs presented another delicious full two course buffet dinner for guests. Clare & Isaiah made their grand entry special and featured a bubble machine!

“WE GOT MARRIED HERE ON 02/03/23.
This was our place, from the first moment we walked in, we just knew. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. When we were able to go ahead, we looked around at heaps of places but ALWAYS came back to the Dragon! And my gosh are we glad we did!
The day went without a single glitch. Not one!!! The events coordinators absolutely nailed it! Nae’s communication is second to none, made everything happen exactly how we wanted it to. From the very beginning, Nae had it under control. Candice, what a legend! Super helpful with all requests, Candice and Nae make an amazing team! Candice even fixed our wedding cake after a little mishap on the way down from Brisbane. The venue was perfect. Huge shout out to the staff who worked around the clock to make our beautiful day, absolutely perfect!
Biggest thank you to Ash, Candice and Nae. Already miss you guys. You made 2 ladies very, very, very happy! I recommend this amazing place with amazing people more than I can put into words! Get down there and check it out. I guarantee you will not regret it!”
