Rain, Rain, Went Away

MG Car Club Visit

Image 1 of 7

As part of their rally routine, the Gold Coast MG Car Club recently made a visit to Tamborine Mountain. Bringing with them about fifteen or so very stylish cars, the members braved the threat of rain to visit the Tamborine Mountain Heritage Centre. The club members enjoyed a delicious morning tea put on by the Heritage Centre and wandered around the centre looking at the historical exhibits.

As a ‘treat’, the men of the local ‘Ukulele Group’, (an ‘off shoot’ of the Tamborine Mountain Men’s Shed), came along to entertain the guests.
Even though the weather threatened to be wet (rain being the enemy of show cars) the day was a great success enjoyed by members of both the MG Car Club and the Heritage Centre. They look forward to their next visit – hopefully on a dry sunny day!
