King’s College At Logan Village Is Expanding
King’s Christian College opened in 2020 with an Early Learning Centre and a Primary School with Prep to Year 3. By the start of 2022, the Primary School will have grown to Prep to Year 5.
Due to ongoing demand, two extra Pre Prep rooms have been built in the Early Learning Centre and they will open in time for the start of school in January. Also, two more Prep classes are planned to open at the same time. Places in the new Prep and Prep Prep classes for 2022 are still available.
High school will open in 2024 with the first Year 7 classes. To prepare for this, the school is building a new two-story classroom block in 2022 that will be ready for Year 6 in 2023 and Year 7 in 2024.
The King’s Head of Primary, Mrs Lorraine Oswald, is excited about the growth and progress in the new school.
“We are delighted at the growth of King’s Logan Village. Enquiries for our younger years especially have been higher than we expected,” said Mrs Oswald.
“This level of interest has allowed us to build two new Pre Prep rooms and plan for two extra Prep classes. These classes are in our master plan for the school, but we weren’t expecting to need them for a few years. The high level of interest from the local community makes for an exciting future for Kings Logan Village.”
