St George Church Celebrates Australia Day …
The congregations of St George, Tamborine Mountain, and St Luke, Canungra, celebrated Australia Day in traditional style. Along with a sausage sizzle and lamingtons for dessert there were games. These included cricket, mini golf, quoits, and the obligatory egg and spoon race. We also commemorated the First Fleet and heard personal recounts from more recent new Australians.
