November Markets
As usual Tamborine Village Lions ran their markets on the first Sunday of November. It was a big success with new stalls and a good crowd.
Remembrance Day Tamborine Village
A moving ceremony was held on 11 November at the Cenotaph at Tamborine Village. The Lions Club laid a wreath and also contributed by providing morning tea for the guests served from the Memorial Hall.
Tamborine Village Lions Donations
The Tamborine Village Lions Club is supporting the Vinnies Jimboomba Christmas Hamper programme.
The Communi-Tea
This month Council requested a sausage sizzle instead of the usual morning tea. It proved to be a great success with many more attendees.
Twilight Markets And Christmas In The Village
The Lions Club is busy preparing for Christmas with Christmas in the Village, Twilight Markets which will be held on 2 December this year. Starting at 5pm, Santa will be coming in the fire engine, there will be Christmas Carols and gifts for the children. There will also be pony rides which will be a great new attraction.
Community Markets Will Be Held On 4 December
There will be no markets in January. The Lions will be taking a well-earned break after December markets over the balance of December and January, starting up again in February. However, we can be contacted in event of emergency.

Recycling
Don’t forget to come to the monthly Markets to usefully dispose of your old spectacles and sunglasses at the Lions Stall.
We can also recycle used household batteries and your empty cans and bottles.
Our monthly markets are held on the first Sunday of each month 7am to 12.00. Stall bookings and enquiries can be made on 0487 774 114. Cost of stalls is only $15.
