Scenic Rim Events Workshop

The Scenic Rim Events Workshop will provide local businesses and community groups the necessary tools to plan and deliver exciting events .

As part of Council’s Economic Stimulus Package 3: COVID-19, the Scenic Rim Events Workshop has been confirmed to take place at the Boonah Cultural Centre on Tuesday 30 November to provide local businesses and community groups with the necessary tools to successfully plan for events to start safely and be planned, promoted and delivered effectively.

Guest presenters will deliver interesting and informative sessions on subjects such as risk management, event management plans, operational delivery, event promotion and marketing, and managing social media.

There will also be case studies presented on successful regional events and the workshop will have the opportunity to evaluate the events and provide input into creating improved authentic experiences, increased visitation, community engagement and financial sustainability.
