Become a citizen scientist at the 2021 Scenic Rim BioBlitz
Join the Scenic Rim Regional Council on a guided walk through an area on a Land for Wildlife property in Beechmont helping to identify local flora species and upload them using the iNaturalist app.
This property is very steep and there are no formal tracks so a high level of fitness is needed for this survey. This area is rainforest abutting the Lamington National Park and so it is possible that some rare or unusual species may be identified on the day.
This will be a fun and educational activity where you will be able to enhance your knowledge and connect with fellow nature lovers and experts in the field. On this occasion we will be going out with a Plant expert!
The 2021 Scenic Rim BioBlitz highlights Council’s ongoing commitment to conservation and enhancement of the region’s natural resources and environment.
