A Very Full On Month! Snakes Alive!!

Last month was very full on - extracted two snakes from the house, met zillions of people, and won an election! Well it was only one snake in the house, the other was on the house! The biggest and most colourful green tree snake we had ever seen was stuck on the wall looking for a way, probably up the drain pipe, into the ceiling. You may remember in a previous edition where I told of how we extracted almost a dozen baby tree snakes from inside our home including from in the bath, the pantry, and (not good) the bedroom - popping up on a daily basis wherever they could! This was late last year so guessing the snake was looking to return to the ‘love nest’ to create another batch. Which leads us to the question - was the snake we found in our house this time from the previous batch as it was quite larger - had it been hiding all this time?!
Not sure if I want to know - but yes I was the one to grab the plastic box to catch it, hubby slipped a lid underneath and flipped it - and then dropped it on the way out the front door, lol!
At least it did make it out of the house - now to find the rest of them once again before a new batch is created in the ceiling! Sadly our friend John’s young kitty, Jasper, was killed by a snake earlier in the year, and our daughter’s kitty Lewis, brother to Lilah, was also killed by a snake last month - both possibly by brown snakes. Very sadly a man’s life was also taken. Watch out for snakes, be careful out there!
Best Wishes Kerri
